Founded in 1956 by a group of winegrowers, Gigondas la Cave has been developing high-quality wines ever since, thanks to the diversity of its terroirs. This diversity of aromas and cultures earned it the Gigondas appellation in 1971. At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains, the Gigondas vineyards stretch across the entire commune of Gigondas. Mostly north-west facing, on plateaus and hillsides.

Born in the Drôme, we are the leader of the AOC Clairette de Die and one of the major players in the AOC Crémant de Bordeaux. Each and every bottle Each and every bottle is the fruit of the cooperative efforts of our 210 passionate winegrowers, who cultivate our vines on small, sunny plots nestled at altitudes of up to 700m.
