Jaillance: our CSR approach to ethical and local production in the Drôme region
A committed collective,
a glance turned
towards tomorrow
Choosing Jaillance means supporting a committed French collective that strives to offer the very best to its consumers. Each cuvée sublimates a genuine savoir-faire. The cooperative does its utmost to preserve the richness of its terroirs, supported by a CSR approach that began at the very outset. This responsible approach is enhanced by the "Vignerons Engagés" label, which embodies a sustainable philosophy.
Preserving the planet, people and our common future
Protecting know-how, the riches of the land, and the men and women who bring them to life every day is a priority. Jaillance has always been committed to continuous improvement. The company pays close attention to quality, safety, hygiene, the environment and, more generally, sustainable development. In 1989, it obtained Organic Agriculture certification, making it a pioneer in the world of winegrowing. Today, 35% of the vineyard is farmed organically.

Vignerons Engagés" label: the fruit of a natural spirit for a commitment to CSR
A committed wine label since 2007
Created in 2007, it is the result of a partnership between Jaillance and 11 other winegrowers emblematic of their regions. The idea was to work together to structure a concrete approach to striking a balance between economic performance, environmental footprint and social impact. Today, more than 6,000 winegrowers and employees from the four corners of France have joined the label, recognized as the second in France.
The "Vignerons Engagés" label is based on demanding specifications. Based on the ISO 26000 standard, which is the benchmark for CSR in over 100 countries. It is audited every 18 months by AFNOR. It defends a vision based on 4 fundamentals:
A few examples
Use of green manures
to help replenish the soil's water supply, but also to fix minerals in the soil in autumn, so that they nourish the vines when they need them.
Adding value to grapes
This allows winegrowers to earn an income while harvesting reasonable volumes, which also avoids the need for intensive techniques.
Saving resources
with nearly 15% of electricity needs covered by solar production and a 30% reduction in water consumption since 2008.
Ecodesign of Jaillance packaging
Light" bottles (775 g instead of 835 g for Champagne models), a collarless cap on all the latest innovations, labels with thinner grammage and vegetable-based inks, cartons made from recycled materials...
Certifications that testify to a concrete commitment
At the last Vignerons Engagés audit at the end of 2024, Jaillance renewed its label by obtaining its highest score with an "exemplary level" (+ 4 points compared to 2021).
