Job description

Missions :

  • Participate in drawing up the production budget and ensure its implementation with the site manager.
  • Work with the site manager to ensure that objectives are met in terms of quality, quantity, deadlines and costs, and in application of the Quality, Food Safety and Environment policy.
  • Manage the various department heads under his responsibility (Winery, Production, Maintenance, Administration).
  • Define objectives for each workshop
  • Participate in developing the site's quality, food safety and environmental approach
  • Manage teams with the site manager, in particular by conducting annual appraisal interviews, training and recruiting employees, and ensuring a good social climate.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of information within departments and unite teams around projects
  • Ensure proper application of regulations and procedures
  • Take into account environmental and food safety regulatory requirements when proposing and implementing technical improvements, in collaboration with the site manager.
  • Participate in external audits
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the entire site

  • Inform the RQE of any significant changes to facilities and equipment affecting the organization and management system.
  • Develop a policy of waste reduction and optimization of materials and resources.
  • Guaranteeing product production (vat room and production) in compliance with food hygiene standards.
  • Ensure staff awareness of food hygiene, waste sorting, water and energy saving and other supplies.
  • Ensure that AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) recommendations and requirements are applied and enforced.
  • Act as safety liaison with the Jaillance safety manager

 

Reporting to : Site Manager

 

Profile required

Education or equivalent :

  • Oenology background - DNO recommended
  • 10 years' professional experience in proximity management
